Key Responsibilities
- • Strategic Growth: Identify, acquire, and manage properties suitable for social housing and vulnerable populations
- • National Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead regional property teams as we expand our footprint nationwide
- • Authority Relations: Liaise with local councils, NGOs, and government partners to coordinate high-compliance, compassionate housing delivery
- • Operational Command: Oversee licensing, safety, maintenance, and tenant welfare across a diverse housing portfolio
- • Tenant-Centric Focus: Ensure the highest standards of care, especially for asylum seekers, at-risk individuals, and low-income families
- • Develop and implement policies and procedures for supported housing operations
- • Manage budgets and financial performance of the housing portfolio
- • Ensure compliance with all relevant housing regulations and safeguarding standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- • 6+ years' experience managing social housing, temporary accommodation, and/or asylum seeker accommodation at a senior level
- • Proven success in scaling housing portfolios and leading distributed operational teams
- • Deep knowledge of UK housing regulations, safeguarding standards, and multi-agency engagement
- • Experience working with local authorities and government housing programs
- • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage teams across multiple locations
- • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- • Understanding of the specific needs of vulnerable tenant groups
- • Ability to develop strategic plans and implement operational systems
